Padre Wasson Foundation

Welcome to family.

Welcome!

We’re happy that you’ve chosen to find out about our foundation. December 21st marks Padre Wasson’s birthday. On 21st December 2020 the Padre Wasson Foundation was formed by a group of his friends and members of the extended family he founded.

As a tribute to his life achievements, we are gathering documents to create an online museum and provide materials related to his philosophy.

For future application and in a more scientific approach, the foundation will suggest solutions to some of the challenges families and communities face in today’s society. Our starting point is the analysis of Padre Wasson’s work in Mexico by the famous psychologist and sociologist Erich Fromm.

Padre Wasson always promoted sharing with those in need and hated bureaucratic structures. He acted. One of his mottos was “do it now!” The Padre Wasson Foundation likewise provides support to individuals and projects as our resources permit. Our current focus is family support and education for the grown-ups of Padre Wasson’s family and their children, the alumni.

Community Model

Padre Wasson created and inspired a worldwide community to live and share the principles of a family. We build from his teachings to model a new sustainable future.

Help for those in need

Natural disasters, local crises or personal problems can be a turn of fate. Fortunately, family is always here to help in critical moments.

Stories of success and happiness

The older members of the family share their personal experiences while facing challenges and how they succeeded in overcoming them.

Happy Birthday, Padre ❤️

100 years ago a child was born. Until his death in 2006, Padre Wasson changed the lives of thousands of children and families.
