Education is a basic human right. Padre Wasson knew what UNICEF describes: “Without quality education, children face considerable barriers to employment and earning potential later in life. They are more likely to suffer adverse health outcomes and less likely to participate in decisions that affect them – threatening their ability to shape a better future for themselves and their societies.” 

If you search the internet you will find loads of websites that explain how education seems to be the universal solution to end poverty. It certainly is one key factor. And it is a focus for us to support the learning of as many individuals of the growing family of Padre Wasson as we possibly can. And what we can do depends entirely on the gifts you and other caring people share.
