What an incredible story of hope and perseverance!
This is more than a qualification – it is a powerful symbol of hope and unbreakable perseverance. In a nation facing profound challenges, they have defied the odds to reach the global stage. Against all adversity, Haiti’s qualification brings joy, pride, and inspiration to our suffering people – reminding every Haitian that no dream is too big when the human spirit stands united.
For me, there is a very personal touch to it: About the only time I ever played soccer in my life was with Wasson and Keeto when they were kids. It really touches me to see their success now, which goes way beyond soccer for this struggling nation.
Because of your past support, we were able to help many families survive and rebuild during some of Haiti’s hardest times:
– Evacuations from areas under violent threat
– Kindergarten and school scholarships
– Safe housing
– Food and supplies
– Family counseling and support
Right now, we’re working to keep that momentum alive.
